In this class, we weave together the restorative powers of yoga nidra, the introspective journey of journalling, and the gentle release of movement. It is a invitation to take a pause from your full and busy life, to take a breath, to connect with yourself, leaving you with a sense of deep calm and renewed energy.

The session will start with a guided journaling practice. Journalling is a therapeutic tool which allows us to reflect on our thoughts, feelings and experiences. The act of writing things down on paper can help us to externalise thoughts and emotions, leaving us feeling lighter and more peaceful.
A gentle movement practice will encourage a release of any tension from the body. Moving slowly and mindfully brings focus from our thoughts to the physical sensations of the body, helping to calm and settle the body and mind.
Yoga nidra is a guided relaxation practice. All you will need to do is lie down, get as comfortable as possible with as many cushions as you need, a blanket or duvet, and listen to my voice as I guide you into a restful state. I will lead you through intention setting, a body scan, and a beautiful visualisation to help you to release feelings of stress and busyness, and restore a sense of calm and confidence in you.
The class will be held online through Zoom so you can do it from the comfort of your home, your bed. You can remain peaceful and sleepy and tuck yourself straight into a long and healing rest.
