Onsite chair massage treatments
An onsite chair massage treatment involves sitting, fully-clothed, on a comfortable, specially-adapted chair and receiving a 15, 20 or 30-minute back, neck, shoulder and optional scalp massage. A variety of massage techniques will allow colleagues to return to their desks feeling refreshed. There is no oil used and it is therefore a convenient and fuss-free way of relieving employee stress and tension. The treatment can be tailored to the individual’s needs and preferences with any injuries or particular areas of focus taken into account.

Yoga classes
Corporate yoga classes involve a physical workout with a focus on releasing stress and tension that can build up during the day at work. The style of yoga combines traditional hatha postures with vinyasa flow in which movement is linked to the breath. Each class will finish with a short relaxation to leave colleagues feeling energised for the rest of the day.

Depending on the preference of the organisation and attendees, classes can take place at the beginning or end of the day or during the lunch hour on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
Desk yoga
For companies and colleagues who don’t have space to set out mats, a simplified version of yoga can be taught while standing or sitting at desks. This incorporates effective stretches for muscles that can become tight and sore from sitting for long periods of time. Colleagues can learn these stretches and use them throughout the day to relieve built-up tension.
Guided meditation
Meditation is an exercise for the mind involving relaxation, focus and awareness which can reduce stress and anxiety and improve mood and emotional balance. When unfamiliar with the practice, it can be hard to know where to start. Guided meditations are a great way to introduce various techniques which students can use and develop in their own time. These sessions can be delivered either sitting on a chair or lying on a mat, depending on the preference of attendees and space available.

I am keen to make your wellbeing session as smooth and admin-light as possible for your company. I take a flexible approach to the organising and logistics of a corporate wellbeing session and can work around your systems and processes.
In general, Mahasana Mind and Body will be responsible for:
providing equipment and consumables
setting up and clearing away at the start and end of each session
undertaking consultations with each client to identify any injuries and contraindications.
Your company will be responsible for:
organising the necessary room bookings in the workplace
co-ordinating the bookings of the employees’ massage treatments (I can provide a template and suggest a process)
providing storage for any equipment if necessary (yoga mats/props/massage consumables).
